After training as a hospital scientist, Kerrie Wiley worked for more than ten years in pharmaceutical manufacturing process development, before moving into public health to develop her passion for social research in immunisation.  Kerrie joined NCIRS in 2010 as a Research Assistant and is currently working as a PhD student with the social research group. She has completed a Masters Degree in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Sydney.  Her current project title is “Protecting babies from the effects of whooping cough and influenza: a study of maternal and postnatal vaccination behaviour and an educational intervention to improve uptake”.
